The club practices have commenced in march, however, the team was only able to come together a few times because of the mercantile league basketball tournaments being held during the same period. Most of the players are working and representing their respective organizations. The players who are attending are working on their skills, its been quite productive as well. Buffalo Fazi is still working on the web site and other promotional aspects of the club. The web site will be up and running by the end of this month, i believe!
Looking forward to seeing the player profiles on the site. Initially the site will carry only the height and weight of the players, we are compiling the other stats as we go along with our practices.
Hope to register the clubs own Academy, the blue prints are being drawn up as i write....
I will update on the club activities and progress periodically.
oh by the way, got married to Suganya, just been a month to the 18th of June. Its been great! It actually has...!!!
We are an open Basketball Club of 40 members of varying ages, we achieved 1st runner up at the Colombo super league "B" division tournament 2009. We welcome anyone who wants to join our club competitively as well as for our pickup games played every Sunday from 7.00pm to 9.30pm at the D S Senanayake College Basketball Courts. Come join us!
