Hello,
First let me introduce myself, my name is Dimitri Ramaneshwara, at present i am the president of "The Buffalo Basketball Club" situated in Sri Lanka. At present the club consists of approx. 24 members. The "Herd" as i refer to our members keeps growing...a good thing! We participate in almost all the Men's Tournaments held in Sri Lanka we play in the second division at the moment, with the addition of our new coach we hope to win the championship in this division before we advance to the Premiere division.
We started this club almost 7 years ago we have one runner up trophy and one second runnerup trophy in our cabinet, however, the championship trophy has eluded us till now, we will remedy this soon!
Buffalo Rimaz Hassan is the capt of the team and Purna Gunewardene is the co-ordinator, buffaloes Chanuka Wijesinghe and Fazi are helping me to promote our club over the net, we hope to create and build awareness for our club. Its been a long hard road till now, it will get harder, before we achieve our goals, but i am confident that my herd are upto the task and will overcome every obstacle!

We are an open Basketball Club of 40 members of varying ages, we achieved 1st runner up at the Colombo super league "B" division tournament 2009. We welcome anyone who wants to join our club competitively as well as for our pickup games played every Sunday from 7.00pm to 9.30pm at the D S Senanayake College Basketball Courts. Come join us! All are Welcome!
